Sustainability.

Doing less, but better!

At ardie. we continuously work to improve the way we do things. A big part of that is reducing our environmental impact and making sure our products are produced ethically and sustainably. That means small runs with a limited number of products. It has always been our ambition to create meaningful items that can be used and reused, for a lifetime.

Each piece has been intentionally crafted using the highest quality textiles. Even our packaging is considered, with recycled materials some of which can even be thrown right into your compost or veggie patch.

Ethical & sustainable sourcing

Our sustainably crafted towels are made from the finest organic Turkish cotton, in a family run mill in Turkey. The mill started with a single loom, and has since grown to utilise a network of local artisans offering traditional weaving techniques. While the looms are now semi-automatic, the twisting of the yarn to this day is done by hand, supporting the continuation of local craftsmanship and techniques.

All ardie. bags are made with cotton that has been independently verified as 100% certified organic. Once they arrive in Australia, they are then individually customised with original embroidery and/or painted designs by founder Louisa in Burleigh Heads.
